This hypothesis has the right to life, according to the research of Chinese scientist Nan Zhang. According to one of the existing theories, the young Moon was formed from the debris of the Earth after a collision with another proto-planet or a very large asteroid. Already formed minerals floated in an ocean of liquid magma, they could sink deep into the Moon and resurface. It is not excluded that there was some event that provoked a mass exit of heavy rock to the outside, where it remained. But so far this is only a hypothesis that requires further observations.
